 Гххмммм... У меня на 2511, с IOS 11.2(16) ни фига подобного:

aaa new-model
aaa authentication login default radius line none
...
interface Async1
 ip unnumbered Ethernet0
 ip accounting output-packets
 encapsulation ppp
 no logging event link-status
 async mode dedicated
 peer default ip address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
 no cdp enable

работает аж бегом...
