После чего огрёб возмущение прорвы халявщиков, требующих BSD
Lisence/GPL.

В ipf34-current (бета-версия для пользователей Solaris, в настоящий
момент недоступен)
было внесено позже "Redistribution is not permitted", что касалось этой,
и только этой версии, как нестабильного кода, который не подлежит
распространению,
что вызвало ещё большую волну флейма.

Приведённое письмо - не более чем сарказм уставшего человека.

Удаление IPFilter из OpenBSD не означает его удаления из FreeBSD и
NetBSD,
где Даррен имеет права commiter'а и люди, изменяющие код, не ленятся
получить
разрешение.

Пока не было ответа на письмо с вопросом о сохранении порта IPFilter
для OpenBSD, но, полагаю, что в таком статусе он останется.

последние пару дней творится что-то страшное. Если подумать - халявщиков
очевидно
на порядок (порядки?) меньше всех подписчиков (и тем более
пользователей),
но шум создают совершенно непереносимый... :-(
