Vlad,
I took another look at your new small jpegs, and the problem is/was
definitely in the blue channel only.
It could have been, as Laurie suggested, a piece of packaging or other
material that was resting over the blue CCD filter, or reflecting onto
it or it could be something that only affects the blue scan.
It still could have been a loose part or cable internally, also.
I'd send the two small "blank" images to Minolta and tell them what
happened, and ask if they have any suggestions as to whether it is
likely to cause problems down the road.
