Well, in this case, it isn't about 'jargon' or 'semantics' it is about, in
my opinion, two completely different processes.  As I mentioned, it is a
common mis-statement to say that your monitor has a resolution of 1280x1024,
when that is not a resolution.  I do believe that the term 'dither' is
possibly being misused in the same way.

I am definitely not trying to nitpick.
