Thanks for the URLs.  Even assuming I could get those prices up here, 
(which I couldn't -- shipping, exchange, GST, PST, etc) the scanner 
sells for $400 US.  The processor you are speaking of is $228 US, the 
extra memory is another $70 or so, so we are already up to about $300, 
plus shipping.  That's pretty close to buying the scanner again, as I 
see it.
