RE: filmscanners: SCSI card not recognized by Win2K



Yes, of course I tried other slots. The card didn't show up in the device 
manager.

I also tried downloading the ASPI utility from Adaptec but it wouldn't 
install because I didn't have an Adaptec card on the system.

The card was not in the device manager, but the scanner was after 
installing Insight but nothing I would do, short of scanning from the older 
computer. would work.

I'm tired of troubleshooting back and forth between computers running 
different operating systems.

If anyone has a logical suggestion that a will make a $79 purchase 
unnecessary I'll evaluate it. Even if I get it working, I still need a card 
for the other computer so I might as well get one that's actually Win2K ready.

BTW, it's PCI. ISA is to old for Win2K.
