Thanks. I've read Margulis and find his technique works well enough, but
difficult to apply outside of limited circumstances where you just want to
plug in his suggested numbers. Also, I've sometimes found, probably through
my lack of expertise, that my colors come out completely screwed up
following his technique, sometimes great.

Guess I'm looking for the 'Idiot's Guide' to curves for beginners.
