No problem IME - I always send out TIFFs compressed in PS to clients if 
supplying on CD.

No, that is right, though modest JPEG compression can reduce this 
dramatically without ill effects. I regularly supply 7x5"@300ppi for 
publication, via email, and typically they will be 700-900k compressed.
