I want to support Firewire/SBP2 scanners on Mac OS 9.1, but I can't
figure out how.
If someone can send me some code for accessing a Firewire device
from a user-mode program (i.e. without installing an extension), I'll
look into integrating this. So far, I haven't found any sample code
to do this. (The info in the Apple SDK's aren't sufficient - they
depend on an extension being installed.)
