[filmscanners] Re: LS-40 - timeout eject
You could try a Scoobysport back box or reset the ECU and run it on 97
Octane fuel, sorry this is the Filmscanner list<grin>.

Subject: [filmscanners] LS-40 - timeout eject
I'm scanning some negative strips with my Nikon LS-40, but VueScan is
taking a fair while to process/save them on my lowly laptop. After a
certain amount of time (5 minutes? I've not timed it) the scanner seems
to automatically eject the film. That would be no problem, except that
if I'm not around to shove it back in, VS saves the preview scan instead
of the full-sized/resolution one.
So, is there any way (firmware, or otherwise) to stop the film being
ejected - or to increase the timeout value in the scanner?!?
Thanks
Mark
