Yerse, but the limiting factor is the scanner's ability to generate,
process and shovel data, not the interface. About 2-3MB/s is about the
usual rate for most scanners, well within SCSI2's abilities. USB1 will
limit this, but SCSI2, Firewire, USB2 should all pan out much the same.
