The AC from a UPS is consistent in average voltage and frequency, but it is
not clean in the sense of not producing EMI. On the contrary, the output
wave can be pretty jaggy, with more harmonics than a pure sine wave. The
UPS is not designed to minimize EMI, it is designed to eliminate spikes and
provide continous power.
