Hi, Anthony,

ICE may not be *supposed* to remove grain but the Vuescan implementation
sure does. My first attempts with Fuji Superia 100 negatives in a Nikon
LS-40 had sufficient dust and grain removal at ICE "light", GEM "medium"
but even better so, dust and grain removal alike, with ICE "medium" and
GEM "light". ICE "light" and GEM "light" left the negative scans both
heavier grained and speckled (though this setting - "light" for both -
is the perfect combo for my Kodak Elitechrome 100 slides).
