No, if you install the MIME-header patch or use a recent version of IE it
only protects you from running viruses automatically. Your computer can
still be infected if you open an attachment that is actually a virus. But if
you do not have this security vulnerability in IE and you are very careful
with opening attachments you are better protected.

Arthur have downloaded the fix... but not used it as i don't think i'm
infected... your line about version 6 and above being immune... does that
mean i'm safe? Using OE6.
