Tom,

Your tutorial is fine but I simply use a pair of scissors to cut off the top
of the mount about 1/4 inch down then peel the two halves apart to extract
the slide.  Fast and simple.

Hello Filmscanners, i just put up a brief tutorial about removing film from
Kodachrome slide mounts.  Anyone who is experienced doing this is invited to
look at the web page and let me know if this is, in fact, the best way to do
it and if the ideas are clearly expressed, or perhaps the description could
